I was wondering if anyone had some knowledge on a good size tire for putting down 500 wheel horsepower well? I am currently looking at running R compound tires for autocross and (hopefully) a track event or two next summer. I was wanting to try and do 275/45/17 up front (17x9.5 or 17x10) and 305/40/17 (17x10.5) in the rear but from the searching I've done most people seem to top out at 245 (8.5" wide wheel) up front and 275 (9.5" wide) in the back, is this sufficient or is it just that nothing bigger will fit? Thanks
